We believe that every local church must be able to clearly state its reason for being. As we drive down our streets in America we often see churches on every corner and the same is very true here in Tulsa. Why are we here in the midst of so many churches? We are here because we believe, from the Scriptures, that God would have His church teaching His Word. The primary focus of our church is our Bible Classes for adults and children. We embrace the principle that the greatest goal of the believer is to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ and that this can only be accomplished as we learn, think, and apply the verse by verse teaching of the Word of God.

The results of this spiritual edification of the believer are twofold. First, a desire to evangelize the lost and secondly, to exhibit the spiritual love of Christ to one another. This is part of God's continued grace to us. We were saved by God's grace and our faith alone. In Colossians 2:6 we are told to walk in the same manner in which we were saved and that means that we are to walk by Grace and Faith.  All the good things that God has for us and that God wants us to do, including learning His Word, serving His church and His people, ministry, and our deeds comes not from our obedience but from the power of God that works in us through faith.
