One Accord Prayer

One Accord Prayer – week of August 8, 2010

EL ELYON, God Most High – Daniel 4:34 “But at the end of that period I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever; for His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom endures from generation to generation.”

When we praise the Most High, we are worshipping the One whose power, mercy, and sovereignty cannot be matched.

Read and meditate on the following verses.  Use these verses in your specific prayers.

Psalm 97:9 For Thou ar the Lord Most High over all the earth; Thou art exalted far above all gods.

Psalm 57:2 I will cry to God Most High, to God who accomplishes all things for me.

Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.

Psalm 92:1 It is good to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises to Thy name, O Most High.

Luke 1:31-32 , 35  “And behold, you will conceive in your womb, and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David.”    And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy offspring shall be called the Son of God.”

Luke 6:35 “But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men.”

Ephesians 5:25-27 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her; that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the work, that he might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she should be holy and blameless.

Revelation 19:7-8 “Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb ahs come and His bride has made herself ready.” And it was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
